BANANA BREAD GRANOLA

Today I decided to play around in the Jennair kitchen, trying to familiarize myself with the show room and all we have to offer. I decided to make a quick 30- 45-minute vegan granola that tastes JUST like banana bread and is loaded with protein, fiber, healthy fats and omega-3s and 6s. First I preheated my Jennair wall oven to 350 degrees on true convection mode then I started my prep and grabbed all my ingredients and tools and placed them on the island. I put all my dry ingredients in a big stainless steel bowl and mixed it well, got a separate bowl for the bananas that I mashed up by hand then set that aside while I put the coconut oil, honey, and vanilla extract into a saucepan. I set myself up with my heat resistant spatula and put my saucepan on the Jennair range on a medium flame, and heated up until it was a liquid consistency where I then whisked in the mashed up banana and poured it over the dry ingredients. I mixed it all up by hand making sure everything is coated, then spread the mixture over baking sheets and placed them in the Jennair wall oven for about 30 minutes. While that was cooking the entire show room smelled like sweet banana bread, and we all were super hungry. I started my clean up and put everything into the Jennair dishwasher. I kept an eye on the granola since I was using convection and did not adjust my temperature I knew it would brown a bit faster, and it did I wound up taking it out within 25 minutes. As I let the granola cool on the counter I decided I wanted to get a little fancy and make everyone individual parfaits, with non-fat vanilla yogurt, berries and the banana bread granola. I layered each cup with berries, yogurt, and granola and snack is served! Just a healthy fast yummy snack, that we can all throw together once in a while.
