Strawberry Bars2

Here at appliance world we have 11 Live dream kitchens, that’s right I said 11!

Being an indecisive girl leaves me with huge decisions to make daily, what kitchen to

use first.  So obviously I did what any new employee would do, and started at the

kitchen closest to my bosses, GE MONOGRAM.  Since this is my first snack I’m

making for the Appliance World family I decided to make it a fast, easy, and

delicious one.  I decided to make strawberry coconut granola bars, so I got all the

ingredients out and started my prep.  I decided since I was in the GE MONOGRAM

kitchen I would use the avantium, which is a pretty cool appliance to work with.

The avantium is anything but just a Microwave; it has oven quality, speed, and its

easy to use.  The avantium cooks on average 4x faster then a conventional oven and

not to mention no preheating! The avantium is literally 4 ovens in 1, speed cooking

(no preheating), true European convection oven, 950 Watt sensor microwave, and a

warming oven which also creates a perfect environment to proof breads! Anyway in

this recipe I did not get to use this awesome appliance to its potential but I did get to

learn how easy it is to use.  So to finish up our snack I combined all the dry

ingredients in a large bowl and set it aside while I put the remainder of the

ingredients in the avantium.  I then took it out mixed in the vanilla extract and

poured it over the dry ingredients threw some gloves on and mixed it all together

with my hands.  I then put the mixture into a pan and pressed it down firmly to

compact it and put it in the refrigerator for an hour.  While I waited for the granola

bars to get cold, I cleaned my mess and loaded all my dishes and utensils into the

monogram fully integrated dishwasher.  I took these yummy bars out and cut them

into rectangles, Voila Snack is served!
