It’s been recommended that when an appliance goes on the “fritz”, before calling for service, and spending roughly at least $100.00 just for them to walk in the door and tell you that your appliance is broken, to reset the circuit breaker. Turn off the breaker to the unit that is having the issue for about 10-15 minutes, and then turn the breaker back on. Sometimes this resets the unit and the problem is solved! If not, it’s time to call and have an authorized service technician diagnose the issue, and hopefully the damage is not too bad!
