Our client had a 46 inch electric cooktop when they moved into their new home. The previous owners did not cook often and did not have any ventilation above this cooktop. The new homeowner loved to cook and we were able to customize her existing cabinetry to make this a chef’s kitchen. We used the Thermador rangetop model#PCG486GD and the matching hood model#PH48HS (with a 1000cfm Internal blower). We were able to bring up a new gas line to make this work.
We installed a new hood in place of where the upper cabinets were. The hood was vented out so that the client could turn all of the burners on high and not worry about smoke or heat coming back into the kitchen. Our client was ecstatic with the kitchen transformation!
