Smok’in Hot!

Yeah!  Summer is finally here.  If you want to do some cool BBQ try using the Weber Smoker.  We prepared the Smoker according to the directions and used hickory wood for flavor.

We prepared two pork butts with a dry rub the day before and then smoked them for 12 hours.  We were amazed how the Weber remained at an even temperature of 250 degrees the whole time.  What a fine piece of equipment.  The internal temperature was 185 degrees when we pulled off the meat.  We let it rest for an hour and the pork was definitely fall off the bone.  It was so delicious and tender.

Smoking meat can be a fun alternative to the same old barbecue.  Give the Weber Smoker some thought for some summer fun.
