French Toast Roll-Ups

Since I was a little girl I always loved French toast.  My grandma used to make the best French toast and so of course she taught me how to make it and through the years I took her tips and tricks and added a few of my own.  This French toast roll up is a new creative way to change it up, you can serve them with syrup for dipping but I think they’re perfectly good all by themselves.  This is a great recipe to have some fun with, let the kids help, and get really creative with the fillings.  This is by far one of my favorite things to make and the feedback is always amazing!  Take the white bread and cut the crust off , then flatten them with a rolling pin and spread the filling on.  Roll them up tightly, dip them into the egg mixture and place them into your hot skillet to cook them on all sides.  Once cooked, immediately roll them in the cinnamon sugar and serve them.  Pretty simple and ridiculously delicious, could breakfast get any better than this?
