Baby It’s Cold Outside

unnamedWell the weather outside is frightful, but inside it is delightful.  What better thing to do than do some cooking on a snowy day.   I did some serious cooking while enjoying a snow day.   I braised some short ribs on my Thermador  Induction cooktop and then proceeded to slow cook them in my Thermador oven for 4 hours.  Fork tender and delicious.  Of course the wine I added helped to make them flavorful.

You always have to have a little sweet after dinner, so I made chocolate chip cookies.   Baking them all at one time on the convection mode made the task go quickly.  If you don’t have a convection oven or need to learn how to use it, think of Appliance World.  We have 11 different brands of convection ovens “Live” to see how they operate.  Some of the brands are GE, Jennair, Wolf, Thermador, Bosch, and Dacor to name a few.

Last but not least the chicken soup was simmering  on the signature Star Burner of the Thermador  duel fuel range.   Heat distribution  is so even that even on simmer, it came out perfect!

Stay warm and cozy and above all else,

Happy Cooking!
