Julia Barreto is a college graduate of West Virginia University who started her sales career at Appliance World in 2017. As the designer specialist at Appliance World, she works closely with designers and their clients to make their dream kitchen become a reality. Julia prides herself on qualifying each client to find the kitchen appliances to best fit their lifestyle needs. She was born and raised on the south shore of Long Island and currently resides in Bohemia, NY. She plans on purchasing a home in the Summer of 2020. Outside of work, you can find Julia working out at OrangeTheory Fitness or riding her Jetski around the beaches of Fire Island. She loves to travel, and strongly requesting adding Thailand to your bucket list!

Katie Berbenich is a graduate of the University of Tampa and has been a member of the Appliance World team since 2014. As a lifelong resident of Huntington, Katie prides herself on being a part of the community and a trustworthy resource for your entire appliance needs. Katie is great at determining our client’s wishes and what appliances are the best fits for them. Outside her career at Appliance World, Katie is the youngest of five children and is a proud aunt of five nephews and two nieces. She is also a very competitive individual who enjoys watching and participating in all kinds of sporting events. Katie enjoys traveling when she can and exploring new places.

Brendan Biscardi started off in the appliance industry almost 20 years ago and found himself to come full circle. Brendan is very happy with where he has landed with Appliance World. He has been with our company since 2016 and has shown great potential during his time with us. Brendan is very knowledgeable and takes joy in helping out clients in any way he can. He loves to take part in just about any sport including golf, softball, and bowling. Brendan lives in Hauppauge with his fiancé, their two children who are constantly keeping him on his toes!

Cody Butler Joined the Appliance World team in 2017 and he has been showing nothing but growth since he started. Cody comes from a very big family and having two older brothers to show him the way has definitely helped him jump right into the Appliance World Family. Cody has lived in Huntington his entire life and recently moved into a new apartment that he’s currently renovating! He’s in the need of a new refrigerator…I wonder where he can get one??! Cody currently works out of our Oyster Bay showroom and he is certainly thriving there! When Cody is not at work you can catch him on a basketball court with a bunch of his AW teammates! 

Joseph Calhoun is a Field Marketing Manager for Appliance World and has been helping to build successful partnerships since 2013. The most rewarding aspect of his job is watching the connections he has made grow into meaningful, lucrative relationships between Appliance World and their partners. Joseph’s prior careers in manufacturing and sales have provided him with the communication skills necessary to foster strong and trusting business relationships. He truly enjoys being a part of the Appliance World team, which is destined to become increasingly successful in the years ahead. Joe lives in Hicksville with his wife and in his downtime you can find Joe playing golf or traveling with his wife to visit their children.

John Cordes is a Field Marketing Manager for Appliance World. John lives in Huntington with his wife, son, and two daughters. His oldest daughter is just about ready to graduate college while his other daughter is preparing to enter college next year. His son is a little younger and enjoys spending quality time with his dad. John takes pride in his position here at Appliance World and what separates him and this company from all other competitors is their attention to detail and 150% Customer Satisfaction! When he’s not working you can find John exploring the great outdoors with his German Shepard, Dutch. John also enjoys a great read and rock climbing.

Patrick Fallon grew up in Huntington, NY, and attended Saint Anthony’s High School. Patrick has been a full-time Sales Associate for Appliance World since 2010 after attending Boston University. Patrick has been a part of the Appliance World family since meeting Danny and Brian Nathan through the crew team in high school. Patrick was the crew team captain for three years at Saint Anthony’s and for his freshman year at Boston University. Patrick married his wife Kelli-Lynn in 2015 and now resides in Commack with their beautiful little girl. Patrick’s hobbies include recreational sports including golf, softball (Appliance World team) and volleyball.

Jean-Pierre (JP) Kozak grew up in Bay Shore, NY, where he developed a passion for golf. After graduating high school, JP attended Coastal Carolina University where he studied professional golf management and marketing. Moving back to NY, JP began his career in the golf industry as an Assistant Golf Professional. He has worked at various golf courses in the New York area, including Southward Ho CC and most recently, Indian Hills CC. JP is a 13-year active member of the Bay Shore Fire Department where he served as captain from 2010-2012 and 2015-2016. He, his wife, and their Puggle “Holly” recently settled down in his hometown and enjoy music, concerts, and vacationing at their family home in Morin-Heights, Canada. JP has been with Appliance World since 2016 and is heavily involved with the builder side of the company.

John Lyons grew up in Hauppauge, NY, and graduated from Saint Joseph’s College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications. His prior experience working in the ceramic tile industry got him to where he is today, a Sales Associate at Appliance World. Johnny has been with Appliance World since 2016 and has grown so much with the company since then. John takes pride in making the shopping experience easier for his clients. In his downtime, Johnny enjoys volunteering his time to coach children’s sports; it really brings him back to his time spent playing sports in college. Johnny also is an avid moviegoer with a strong sense of nerd towards things like Marvel and Xbox. Currently, he lives in Huntington, NY and still is engaged with his sports teams like the Yankees, Titans, and Tarheels. You can catch him on a snowboard in the winter and in a Tommy Bahama chair in summer on the beach.

Neil Mistry has been a part of the Appliance World sales team since 2000. Throughout his time at Appliance World, he has developed many long-lasting relationships with project partners and clients who have helped him grow in the company. Neil enjoys keeping his clients up to date on new trends in the appliance industry. Neil has recently relocated to our brand new showroom in Oyster Bay after many years at our Huntington location. When Neil is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids partaking in family activities in their Northport home. Neil is also an avid cross-fit member and a fine car enthusiast.

Brian Nathan grew up in Kings Park, NY, and attended Saint Anthony’s High School; he has since moved right in the heart of Huntington Village. Brian has been with Appliance World full time since graduating at the University of Albany with a business degree in 2011. He has enjoyed growing up working at Appliance World alongside his father & brothers. Brian loves seeing how much the company has grown over the years and how it continues to expand. Brian’s favorite part about the job is working with clients when they are in the process of starting their new kitchen project. Brian is confident in providing clients with ideas, educating them about the different products and discovering the best solutions for them. In his spare time, Brian enjoys playing chess and reading many books.

Danny Nathan grew up in Kings Park, NY, and attended Saint Anthony’s High School. He was a very active member of their crew team along with some of his fellow Appliance World coworkers. Danny has been with Appliance World full time since graduating college in 2009 and is currently the store manager at our Oyster Bay location. He and his brothers will be the second-generation owners, as they strive to continue to grow Appliance World for years to come. Danny has built long-lasting relationships with many contractors, builders, designers, and cabinet companies to ensure a seamless kitchen renovation for his clients. He is also up to date with the industry trend, which helps him to guide his clients to make their best decisions. Danny delivers excellent customer service to every one of his clients. He lives in East Islip with his wife, Katie, and their three children Aiden, Jackson & Riley. They are currently in the process of building their new home in Northport!

Stephen Nathan grew up in Kings Park, NY, and attended Saint Anthony’s High School. He is the youngest son of the Owner Kevin and has been full time with Appliance World since 2015 after he graduated from college in South Florida. Stephen is based out of the Oyster Bay location and has really enjoyed watching the location grown since we opened it. He has developed many relationships with clients and trade partners which has really help to grow his knowledge with the industry but he is always eager to learn and see more! When not at work Stephen can be found at the running or with a surfboard. He is also one of the star players on the Appliance World Softball Team. He loves spending time with his growing family and continues to hold the title of “Favorite Uncle” with all his nieces & newphews!

Stu Stone has been involved with the kitchen industry business since the early 2000s and has been with Appliance World since 2005. Stu is the Director of Special Accounts & Merchandising and Lead Buyer. Stu always enjoys learning about what is new and exciting in the market that allows him to keep our stores and staff up to date. Stu lives in Northport and is a part of the Indian Hills Country Club in which he spends most of his days off there. His sports interest is not only limited to golf, but he also enjoys watching football & baseball.

Simeon Weisz grew up in Huntington, NY, and attended Huntington High School. Simeon then went on to SUNY Delhi where he obtained a degree in business. Simeon has been with the Appliance World sales team since 2013 but has been in the kitchen design business dating back to his childhood thanks to his families’ involvement in the business. Simeon’s Hebrew School background makes him the authority on any Kosher or Sabbath Mode question. Simeon cares deeply about his clients and will have your best interest at heart when selecting appliances with you. When he is not working Simeon enjoys going to live music festivals, solving the Rubik’s Cube, playing the saxophone, and exploring different types of cuisine from every corner of the world. Simeon resides in Huntington with his wife Adrianna.
